Building off our work for the Denso 'FCV Emergency Inverter', we worked with the internal team at Denso Design to provide industrial design guidance for a DC-DC converter for Electric Vehicle (EV’s).

The Bi-Directional Inverter enables the use of electronics with a miniaturized EV power source. We achieved outstanding storability and portability by winding the cable around the unit, characterizing the DENSO inverter design series.

A sense of quality and reliability is created by the perfected design that is functional and robust. The design of a simple and easy to understand user interface provides peace of mind during energy scarcity, such as the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011.

Designed in collaboration with Denso.

“Max has always made these products very fine and innovative. He has a remarkable ability in styling geometry and business fitting. I am very pleased to work with him”
